Schilling’s surgery a success | redsox.com: News.
BOSTON — Curt Schilling could be throwing off a mound by January after having shoulder surgery Monday that keeps him on target to pitch by the middle of next season if he decides to return.
The Red Sox’s former ace had his right biceps tendon and labrum repaired and there was no meaningful rotator cuff problem as feared, Dr. Craig Morgan told The Associated Press after completing the operation in Wilmington, Del.
I felt temporarily relieved first of all.

Some gardens should be visited with friends: they are sociable places that invite picnics. Others, such as Herterton House on the fringes of the Northumberland Moors, should be sought out when you need peace, a place to sit and gather together your thoughts. Within the dry-stone walls that give shelter from the searing easterlies is a garden so tranquil that it has the feeling of a monastic cloister. I have been visiting Herterton for 15 years, and my trips have slowly revised what I now consider to be the point of a garden.

Cherry blossoms
March 30, 2008
Cherry blossoms became in full bloom in Tokyo.
When I enjoyed flower viewing well before, it was surely necessary to do anti-protection against the cold measure.
But was it such cold?
There is sense of incongruity in hearing the topic of the flower viewing in full bloom in such time, a little.
